Technology has a way of feeling inevitable in hindsight, yet we constantly struggle to predict where it’s going.
Previously, I led Emerging Technology Research at Vanguard, spending years exploring AI, digital assets, and quantum computers, working hand-in-hand with Vanguard businesses to help understand how “what’s next” could be useful today. Before that, I spent a decade teaching in New York City. And today, I run Cambras Technologies, helping businesses of any size make understand, evaluate, and apply emerging tech.
Along the way, I’ve become fascinated by the gap between technological possibility and human behavior. Which technology trends of today that will shape our tomorrow? Why do some breakthroughs feel like they’re going to “change everything” while others struggle to gain traction? And why do some predictions take decades to materialize, while others happen almost overnight?
Pending, Possibly is where I explore those questions.
